Best OOH Campaigns Recognised at the Pikasso d’Or Awards

The Pikasso d’Or Awards, a competition showcasing the best creative work in out-of-home, has announced its 2018 winners during a ceremony that took place on February 28 at the Music Hall, Beirut, in the presence and under the auspices of Camille Abou Sleiman, Minister of Labor.

Leading advertising agencies and clients, as well as representatives from the media attended the 26th edition of the much-anticipated annual awards that celebrates most creative work in outdoor media that ran on Pikasso network during the previous year.

All winners were chosen by the Pikasso d’Or International Grand Jury composed of eight major creative and advertising professionals, with Alain Weill, an acknowledged expert in contemporary art and advertising, as President of the Jury and Andrew Rawlins as General Secretary.  The jury also included: Nada Abi Saleh, Managing Director at Leo Burnett Beirut; Noureddine Gasmi, Chief Executive Officer at Serviced, Tunisia; George Jabbour, CEO at MCN Group Beirut; Emad Khayyat, Creative Director at Y&R Advertising, Jordan; Georges Najm, Partner & Manager at Clementine and Walid Trifi, Consulting and Strategy Director at Allégorie Algeria.

The jury had to screen 252 visuals submitted by 28 agencies to select winners in six categories: Best Use of Billboards; Best Use of Supersize Format; Best Use of Mall Advertising; Best Use of Digital Out-Of-Home; Grand Prix and the Citizen Billposter Award, for the most effective campaign promoting a good cause that ran free-of-charge on the Pikasso networks as part of its ongoing CSR program. The Grand Prix was awarded to the best work entered in the competition. It was chosen from the four Gold winners in the Networks, Supersize, Digital, and Mall categories.




The 17thedition of the Pikasso d’Or Awards, Jordan Chapter for 2018 was held in Amman on Sunday, March 3rd, 2019 at the Grand Hyatt Amman. 121 visuals were presented by seven agencies and were selected in four categories: Best Use of Billboards; Best Use of Supersize Format; Best Use of Mall Advertising and Best Use of Digital Out-of-Home.


For Pikasso d’Or 2018 Iraq, 11 posters (11 campaigns) were presented by six agencies and only one winner was awarded.
