Creative Industry Summit Launches its Beirut edition

The Worx in partnership with TreeAd and ArabAd is delighted to announce the hosting in November of the Creative Industry Summit (C—S)-Beirut Edition.


Since its launch in 2014 in Cairo, C—S set out to bring together hundreds of people from all creative walks of life including thought leaders, business professionals and entrepreneurs in countless creative fields such as marketing, design, filmmaking, entrepreneurial, art, agencies and corporates to share their experiences, projects, successes and failures as together they re-imagine creativity today and celebrate it in all its shapes and forms.

C—S / Beirut Edition is set to run for two days on November 14 and 15 and will take place at The Shelter Beirut.

Why Beirut? C—S / Beirut Edition theme is 'Creativity Matters' with content focused on why it’s important to invest in creativity today as well as the different areas and matters related to fostering and growing creativity within any/all lines of business.

The summit will include a good mixture of workshop-style sessions, keynote international, regional and local speakers and informative panels on fresh subjects of real relevance to the industry at the moment.

Some of the topics that will be discussed and explored revolve around how and why creativity has become an essential asset for business growth; how creativity is measured with a focus on its capability to introduce the brand/product into culture (and not only into consumption habits) and “change the world”.

A look at some of the speakers: Tarek Atrissi, Founder of Atrissi Design, an Award Winning Multi-disciplinary design studio in the Netherlands specialising in Branding, Arabic Design and Typography; Mark Adams, VP and head of innovation at VICE London; Ramzy Haddad, Executive Creative Director, M&C Saatchi Dubai; Shahir Zag, Chief Creative Officer, Science & Sunshine, Dubai; Noha  Karanouh, Head of Creative Design and Founder of Graphic Shop Lebanon; Ahmed Hafez Younis AKA Fizo, Head of Creative Shop at Facebook; Nada G., Founder of Nada G. Jewelry; Teodora Migdalovici, the awarded author, international public speaker and trainer, personal branding strategist, and founder of The Alternative School for Creative Thinking; Bechara Haddad, Country Manager, Lebanon, Zomato; Firas Moughames, Feer McQueen’s CEO; Kamal Mouzawak, Synergos Social Enterpreneur & Founder Souk El- Tayeb; the Lebanese Graffiti artists duo renowned for their pop graffitiart murals, Ashakman, along with Ayad Nasser, co-partner at loft investments, and the founder and initiator of the OUZVILLE project will be joined in by curator and artist Victoria Latysheva, also behind the dawn of Ouzville.
