The Golden Drum has announced it is opening its call for entries until 5 August 2022 and will admit all works that have been aired, published, or implemented for the first time between 1 September 2021 and 5 August 2022.

Agencies, advertisers, clients, design/production houses, media companies, and other creatives from 36 countries are invited to enter their works in four diverse sections: One-Channel Drum, Omni-Channel Drum, Craft Drum, Creative Business Excellence Drum, and a special All Juries Section

Established in 2004, the Golden Drum Festival is an annual event, which celebrates and rewards creative excellence in communications, advertising and related fields in Europe. It is known to be the friendliest festival that attracts Europe's creative community and has stood as one of the most visible crossroads of the creative, marketing and advertising professional communities in the European advertising space. 

 

What’s new this year?

Partnership with Little Black Book

In 2022, Golden Drum is extending its partnership with Little Black Book. Every Grand Prix winner of the festival will be entered directly and free of charge into The Immortal Awards. The eligibility period for The Immortal Awards runs from 1 September 2021 until 31 August 2022. 

The company that has entered the winning work receives a complimentary membership to Little Black Book (with a value of £1000) that will allow them to enter the Immortal Awards as well as offer them the opportunity to take advantage of all Little Black Book offers.

Golden Drum on international rankings

Golden Drum festival was once again chosen as one of the seven regional festivals in the world and included in the 2022 WARC Creative 100 ranking, which tracks creative award shows around the world and acts as a benchmark for creative excellence. Furthermore, Golden Drum is included in AdForum Business Creative Report, the only of its kind, which allows advertisers and agencies to benchmark their creative impact against competitors in the same sector. 

Introducing the Super Early Bird 

With the Super Early Bird Fee, available until 20 April 2022, Golden Drum Competition is now also accessible to entrants with lower festival participation budgets. Entrants can choose among the Super Early Bird, the Early Bird, and the Standard Entry fees.

Additional discounts are being planned. Since the Covid pandemic has not ended, we are keeping the Covid-19 group in the All Juries section and setting a 50% lower fee for entries in this group.

The quantity discount 10 + 1 also features in 2022: if you enter 11 works, the entry with the lowest fee is accepted free of charge.

New price for entering a series of works

Golden Drum festival is also presenting new possibilities for entering a series of works into the competition. The pricing of the series applies as follows: first entry of the series will be charged by the entry fee for the individual group (as posted on the Golden Drum website), while each additional entry within the series is charged a flat fee of 50 € per entry.

Golden Drum Festival is waiving entry fees for Ukrainian agencies for this edition of the festival in a gesture of symbolic support.
