Saniss Health & Wellness Awards 2024 opens for entries

The second edition of the Saniss Awards is fast approaching, after a successful launch in Madrid and Bogota in 2023, where the the festival successfully managed to establish itself as reference point for global health advertising.

The Saniss Awards awards the best in Health, Wellness and Pharma communications from five continents, and allows participants to submit their cases without paying registration fees. 

Saniss is launching a new academic format for 2024, with new categories and new venues confirmed. One such venue is the Hyatt Regency Toronto (Canada), where a select group of judges will vote on April 25 to determine the winners of the festival’s most coveted awards, and where the leaders on the judges’ panel will close out the event with a social gathering that includes cocktails and dinner.

Meanwhile, Tomilli’s Referentes 2 will take place on June 6, in Monterrey, Mexico. With conferences on health communications, a forum for advertisers in the health industry, and a long list of industry leaders, including the heads of communication agencies and advertisers, the event should be quite a success. In addition, the event will include an award ceremony, dinner and a cocktail hour in honor of the winners.

The organization behind the Saniss Awards 2023, has put together a competitive group of judges that includes representatives of creative or specialized agencies in the industry, along with specialized leaders in the pharma and wellness sector, so as to ensure a more comprehensive vision. Since these types of specialized messages must have very different standards of evaluation.

It should be noted that agencies can submit up to five entries for consideration at the Saniss Awards, without paying any registration fees. In this format, only winners pay award fees, which include the trophy, shipping, and access to the event for the winners.


2023 Festival Recap

The first edition of the Saniss Awards was held last year. Wunderman Thompson (today VML) was named network of the year, with its branches in Brazil and Argentina placing first and second, respectively. Ogilvy Health / North America came in 3rd in the general ranking and McCann Health / Italy came in fourth place. Closing out this honor roll, in fifth place, was TBWA / Spain.
