The Creative Floor Healthcare Awards have been shortlisted at The Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards.

The Dragon Awards, founded in 1987 recognises businesses and community organisations that go above and beyond their core work to significantly impact the regeneration of communities. All finalists are invited to an annual awards ceremony hosted by the Lord Mayor at Mansion House.

This prestigious event presents a chance for finalists to share experiences and innovative practices in Responsible Business. It is an opportunity to celebrate businesses that are actively helping to fight social exclusion and build stronger communities.

The Creative Floor Awards is the first global health & wellness show to be shortlisted in the 36 year history of the Dragon Awards.

Founded in 2014 by Shaheed Peera, the aim of The Creative Floor Awards was to help change the way award shows are run. Not only do the awards celebrate world-class creative but also agency people (various roles), clients and healthcare companies.

And it continues to date to be the only health and wellness award show in the world to donate a percentage of profits towards a Talent & Diversity Fund, that helps people from under-represented communities into health and wellness communication agencies. The fund has raised over £175,000.00 to date.

Lord Mayor of the City of London, Nicholas Lyons, said: “These 22 companies and individuals are doing sterling work to benefit communities in Greater London and across the UK and in being shortlisted, they have already proved to be a credit to themselves and their firms.”

Shaheed Peera, Founder, The Creative Floor Healthcare Awards commented: "In a world that seems ever more divided, having a platform like The Lord Mayor's Dragon Awards celebrating organisations that deliver hope, equity and purpose has never been more important. Thank you to everyone who supports The Creative Floor Awards, this one’s for you.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Lord Mayor’s official residence, The Mansion House, on Tuesday 10 October, hosted by compẻre and judge, Tim Campbell, who recently joined Lord Alan Sugar as his aide on the BBC’s ‘The Apprentice.’
