Posted on 2016 Oct,23  | By Christina Fakhry

Very few Arab admen/women seem to have established a significant presence on Twitter to date as many of them have either been inactive for an excessively long period of time or are not present on the platform altogether. The world’s most beloved microblogging platform is definitely in need for more faces of advertising from the region to share, explore and inspire. Meanwhile, here are a few ones you can keep an eye on.

Jimmy Ghazal

After joining Quantum Group in 2002, Ghazal currently serves as Innovation & Digital Director at M&C Saatchi MENA and Digital Director at Mercury and has recently joined the American university of Beirut (AUB) as a Media Studies instructor. He regularly shares insightful news and industry highlights to his Twitter timeline.

Taleb Kabbara

Prior to becoming a seasoned social media trainer/consultant, Kabbara has worked for a number of years in advertising with Leo Burnett Dubai. He is the most active tweeter on the list in terms of posting frequency and currency and boasts more than 26.5k followers on the platform.

Mohammad Hijazi

Marketing and public relations trainer/consultant Mohammad Hijazi has always been active on Twitter, sharing and retweeting relevant stories in addition to original content. He also serves as Chief Organiser of the Social Media Awards which allow the online community to nominate, vote for and award social media users and content creators for their efforts in online communication.

Ralph Aoun

Drawing upon his experience as a blogger (Blog of the Boss), head of digital at marketing and advertising agency COM FU and personal advisor to the Lebanese Minister of Telecommunications, Aoun shares his often humorous take on events and new stories that are happening around town.

Sami Saab

Saab is Founder, CEO and Creative Director at Lebanon-based adverstising agency Phenomena. He mostly tweets and retweets everything related to the agency’s current projects while also retweeting and mentioning the respective clients. His Twitter account is more of a showcase of the agency’s work.
