The FP7 network has successfully adopted Facebook at Work across the entire region. Every single FP7 office is now on Facebook at Work. The initiative was driven by Jad Hindy, Regional Head of Innovation, and had the full commitment and support of Tarek Miknas, CEO. FP7 was selected by Facebook as part of an invitation-only first-in-line companies to get on the beta platform. The agency network is stated to be the first advertising agency in the region to adopt the platform.

Several groups are setup on this unique sharing and communications platform for FP7 teams to collaborate seamlessly with each other. Each office location is a group, as are several special interest and pitch related groups. Groups include an Innovation Clan, IT Support, Data & Analytics, Training, Book Club, Women at FP7, along with several special secure pitch and account team groups.

Facebook at Work is similar to Facebook, but is secure and locked in to the company. People who are not officially employees of the FP7 network cannot access the platform. Facebook says in their note to staff: “This account is separate from your personal Facebook but works in similar ways. Use News Feed to stay updated, join groups to collaborate, send messages and get notifications about what’s most relevant to you.”

The unique for-business only platform, Facebook at Work is pitched by the social media giant as a platform for companies that get things done.
