What gets you up in the morning?

Cuba the cat.

What do you enjoy most about your job? 

Happy hour.

Who do you ultimately want to become?

A child.

What is your greatest extravagance? 

Smoking in bed.

What’s your motto in life?

‘I don’t sugar coat shit, I’m not Willy Wonka’.

What keeps you in the game? 

The alarm clock.

What keeps you up at night? 

My Plan B.

What would be your worst nightmare? 

Losing my cynicism.

What inspires you most? 

Generous women.

My old fashioned red SEB grill.

Imperfection.

I’m still very close to my childhood friends. We see each other every week. It’s a blessing that makes you feel like a 10-year old kid.

In a Tuscan village free from tourists.

What’s the last book you read or movie you saw? 

The Saint Georges Hotel Bar, by Saed Abureesh. During the 60s and 70s the bar was a mailbox for all the secret services in the region. It’s a well-documented book and out of stock. I had to pay $90 for a used copy on Amazon.

What is the one thing you wish you’d designed? 

A Coureges dress.
