‘Cash Xpress’, a New Service from Credit Libanais

Credit Libanais in partnership with BoB Finance is proud to announce the launch of “Cash Xpress” a service that will allow any customer, holder of an “International” card or Credit Libanais’ “Fresh Money” cards to withdraw US$ fresh banknotes through the POS terminals available at BoB Finance premises as well as the Bank’s branches or through its ATMs.

Credit Libanais is leveraging on BoB Finance’s 70 selected locations from its network in addition to the Bank’s 60 branches and 91 ATMs constituting a large network spread across Lebanon to provide cardholders carrying international cards with an easy access to fresh US$ bank notes. This comprehensive solution, allows visitors coming to Lebanon to reduce the risk of having their money lost or stolen while transiting through different airports.

“Cash Xpress” will allow those cardholders to withdraw the desired amount of cash from their international card, at their convenience.

Randa Bdeir, Deputy General Manager and Head of Electronic Payment at Credit Libanais said: “We embraced this project because we believe in the complementarity of roles and tasks between institutions, and in the need for efficient partnerships which boost our mutual benefits. In these uncertain and constantly changing times, being in tune with customers and their needs is essential and thus, “Cash Xpress” goes in line with the Bank’s strategy to adapt to the changing market conditions and will facilitate the life of visitors coming to Lebanon holding large amounts of money while offering the Bank’s holders of fresh money cards easy access to withdraw US$ banknote."

Bdeir also added: "We are also very excited to partner with BoB Finance to develop this service and cover all Lebanese regions, while staying true to the Bank’s slogan “Close to you”.”

Commenting on this launch, Michael Abdelnoor - Managing Director of BoB Finance said: “We are keen on facilitating access to cash to the expats and foreigners visiting Lebanon. We have decided on offering this service through 70 of our branches carefully selected to cover the entire Lebanese territory, we are happy to team up with Credit Libanais for that purpose.
