Senior management restructure at Havas Middle East

Havas Middle East has announced three major new appointments to its senior leadership team across functions, in line with its unprecedented growth. The strategic restructuring is said to be part of the agency's expansion and comes to reinforce its unique ‘Village’ model, described as the most integrated in the industry.

The new structure, set to bolster the management team is as follows: former General Managers Fabio Silveira and Dana Tahir have been made Managing Directors of Havas Creative Middle East and Red Havas Middle East respectively. Naveen Chacko Mathews, previously Head of Business at Havas Media, will now take up the General Manager role for Havas Media UAE.

Fabio, who has been with the Havas Group in multiple markets for over a decade, and Dana, who joined Havas Middle East in 2008, will continue to develop the business; strengthen their business units; and grow client partnerships while focusing on implementing the Havas Village model further.

Naveen, who joined Havas Media in 2014 as Head of Business, consistently providing valuable support and making significant impact across all clients, teams and specifically, new business initiatives resulting in notable wins, now oversees all media operations in the UAE, leveraging disciplines and tools to better service clients.

Naveen will continue to support Havas Media CEO Houda Tohme in growing the agency’s strategic offering and specialties, while Houda prioritizes the Media Group’s expansion into new and the harmonization of the services and talent of the operation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
