Electric Lime Films Dubai moves to new location
Posted on 2019 Jul,04

Moving from a small rented office space on the first floor of NightJar Coffee, a coffee roaster located in Alserkal Avenue, the Electric Lime Films Dubai team now has an independent space in unit 60. ‘We really love Alserkal Avenue for its vibrant art scene and community which is why we decided to stay within the same location. After a long search, we finally found the perfect space to expand our team and create a collective working experience,’ mentions Senior Producer Chaza Said.

The Electric Lime Films' new office is an open studio space sectioned in departments that allow the team to efficiently streamline the workflow: ‘the collection’ reception/lounge area where clients and visitors can view the Electric Lime portfolio on a large screen, a working station where the creative and production teams come together to work and bounce ideas, an edit suite for live editing and color grading sessions with clients as well as an offline editing station separate to the main one.

The team collaborated with Sven Mueller from the SVENM firm who helped design and bring the original concept to life. ‘The studio feels spacious and has a look and feel that resembles an art gallery. Plans were made to provide people with a creative experience when visiting the studio. Whether this is a walk through experience, or simply designated areas in which we can immerse ourselves in like the edit suite that can turn into a ‘dark room’ to view edits on a big screen,’ says Executive Producer Michael Ahmadzadeh.

The Electric Lime Films' studio is spacious, inspiring and aesthetically appealing to the eye. The space holds the company’s flair of minimalism and neutral colour palette through clean ‘Scandinavian’ style aesthetics and furniture. ‘The space in which we work in, is essential for unleashing the creative being inside you. A clean space is a clean mind after all. We want to staple EL Film’s position as part of the local thriving creative community,’ explains Ahmadzadeh.

The boutique film production house also has offices in Singapore and Sydney.
