Grey Group Middle East and North Africa (MENA) has won Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA) marketing and communications brief following a competitive pitch against a number of top agencies.

Effective August 2018, the agency in Dubai will be responsible for all aspects of DEWA’s communications, with a special focus on sustainability and renewable energy in line with Dubai’s strategic plans.

Commenting on the new partnership, Nadim Khoury, CEO of Grey MENA, said: “This is a fantastic account for us to win, not only because it is a significant piece of business for an important Dubai authority, but because it continues a wonderfully successful year in which the agency has gone from strength to strength.

“We look forward to working with DEWA, bringing fresh ideas to its marketing strategy, and utilising a truly integrated approach to communication as the authority embraces sustainability and renewable energy.”

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s DEWA 2021 strategy is aligned to the UAE Centennial 2071, the UAE Vision 2021, and the Dubai Plan 2021. The goal is to secure a happy future and a better life for future generations, raise the country’s status as the best country in the world, and always rank first in all areas.
